Orders can be picked up at our Bow, WA nursery with a scheduled appointment ***September 2020: The safety of our crew and customers is of top priority. Please contact the PMC directly for COVID-19 nursery and pick-up procedures.*** Please note that during peak season, we require at least two weeks of notice prior to pickup.
We use UPS Ground, Oak Harbor Freight and other Freight shippers based upon order volume. Shipping rates are based on weight, volume and destination. We cannot calculate exact shipping costs until after the order ships. Our charges compare quite favorably with other nurseries when using the same method of shipping.
Reserved shipping dates are first come-first served and can fill up quickly. We recommend scheduling your order as early as possible after placing your order. We advise shipping Monday through Thursday, starting in mid December to early May. Please contact us if you need special arrangements for shipping.
The WACD Plant Materials Center cannot guarantee against delays, mishandling, or other causes beyond our control when shipping material. Most carriers do not assume responsibility for perishable goods and do not guarantee timely transit. Once plants are in possession of the carrier, the customer becomes solely responsible for any possible damage, loss or delay while in transit.
We want to make sure that you get the plants you want in good condition. If your box arrives damaged, please accept the order and let the shipping company know about it as soon as possible. Open your box and inspect your plants. Please notify us within 2 days of receiving your order if there is damage. We do not guarantee plants to live after accepted since transplant success depends on factors beyond our control.
